Mobile is the Future for VoIP Providers in UK

VoIP providers in UK are now identifying more and more opportunities to reap the rewards of technical advancement in the mobile telephone market.

It is estimated that nearly 40% of all mobile telephone users will subscribe to broadband by 2016 – a dramatic increase in numbers from only 15% in 2011. This puts mobile telephone companies under even greater pressure to compete for better market-share, products, services and software – in particular, ensuring that each mobile device is fully equipped with the possibility of connecting to VoIP and instant messaging networks.

In parallel, the EU, is now focusing on achieving better, quicker broadband connectivity. Therefore, does the requirement of “landline” telephones within a small business fall under scrutiny? And does this present more opportunity for VoIP providers in UK? (source: telecoms.com)

Previously, the installation of a landline telephone network within a business has been a necessity due to cost control. But as more and more businesses have found telephone communications via traditional networks restrictive and have already moved to a VoIP telecoms setup, it seems to be only a matter of time before access to these networks is permanently actioned via one mobile telephone per user. The many obvious benefits of a consistent VoIP connection via one mobile telephone include:
· incoming and outgoing VoIP calls can be provided at an extremely low cost
· VoIP call costs are consistent no matter where the international location when receiving a call
· one telephone number is consistent and can be easily diverted to other VoIP or traditional telephone line or mobile device if necessary
· one VoIP device can receive calls made to a variety of numbers if receiver has a variety of companies, brands or if advertised contact details vary

It is common knowledge amongst VoIP providers in UK that many companies originally seek assistance with lowering their businesses landline telephone charges but, in actual fact, it is the mobile telephone charges that can be more easily addressed with a dramatic change in monthly expenditure.

Cloud2Call offers VoIP services for businesses large and small. The correct VoIP setup can unify your telecommunications requirements, in-office and mobile with the added advantages of virtual switchboard services, auto-dialer and CRM.

Cloud2Call is a VoIP telecommunications provider that listens to your exact needs and provides a communication setup that makes your business-life easier to manage. For more information on our services, please visit our website:

Transparency of Telecoms

– so much competition, but which business telecoms providers are telling the truth?

If you were to search for telecommunications providers listed in the UK, you would find yourself faced with over 3000 (www.yell.com). The UK telecoms marketplace is competitive, to say the least, with a national value of around €50 billion. So, how do you choose one business telecoms provider over the next?

Firstly, it is the telecoms providers who have identified the changed needs of its clients during and following a recession that have proved to be the most successful. National and international companies have a new approach to business in these more economically aware times and, therefore, good telecoms providers have identified new technologies that can aid clients’ efficiency, productivity and profit. In addition, it is important to work with a business telecoms company that can provide sufficient network capacity and connectivity. Businesses large and small require instant connection times whatever the hour that they are communicating and wherever in the world they may be or their colleague/ client may be.

The telecoms market today is feature rich and whilst many business telecoms providers may carry similar products and software, it is essential to put your company’s telecommunication requirements in the hands of a provider who really understands the wide range that is now available. Cloud2Call understands that whilst one product may suit one company (for example, a virtual switchboard can lower the demands on personnel resources and increase productivity), another company may need a telecommunications setup that focuses on increasing client contact by over 500%. Cloud2Call offers completely bespoke packages because it knows that no two companies operate in exactly the same manner.

Any good business prides itself on a transparent relationship with its clients. Cloud2Call is no different, allowing clients to manage their own accounts, have up-to-the-moment call reporting and not insisting on a contracted agreement –Cloud2Call’s clients remain working with the brand only because of the high level of service that they receive.

Cloud2Call is focused on providing the best call quality to businesses, for the lowest price – a service that can only be achieved by a company that has an in-depth understanding of the industry.

Cloud2Call is so confident about its high levels of service at a low cost that the rates are now guaranteed. *Should a lower rate be found with another telecoms provider then Cloud2Call will match that rate with no interruption to your service.

Cloud2Call is always up-to-date on the latest telecoms hardware/ software and VoIP features.
Whilst some telecoms providers have been raising costs over the recent years of global crisis, Cloud2Call has focused on meeting its clients’ demands by creating a system that lowers costs and increases productivity. In some instances, call connection fees have increased by 50% whereas Cloud2Call’s no-contract service charges zero connection fees. In addition, in September 2011, many mobile telephone users suffered a significant call rate increase of 16%. Cloud2Call believes that the flexible benefits of a good VoIP installation should answer many of the “mobile communication” demands of a local or international business – therefore, immediately avoiding excess mobile telephone charges.

In addition, a VoIP setup brings advantages such as call diverting and virtual switchboard services. Cost saving with VoIP

The past year has shown an even higher demand for VoIP telephone systems. Why? Because it can save any business a lot of money. And it is VERY reliable.
Whereas once there were fears about the reliability of the VoIP system, more recent improvements have demonstrated a call quality and consistency that is better than traditional landline telecoms options. Just as the mobile telephone was once an anomaly only used by the few, VoIP has emerged from its niche-market beginnings to become hugely popular. This is due to its convenience, simplicity and low-cost call rates.
Europe has become the prime innovator in VoIP services, whether stand-alone, bundled as a triple play offer, or through fixed-mobile convergence packages. This means that more and more call features are available to the small and large business, such as predictive dialling, dedicated inbound numbers, PBX virtual switchboards and "call whisper".
The keen focus that is being placed on VoIP telecoms worldwide is putting more pressure on providers to up the ante and continually offer services that have to date been unimaginable, especially for the small business or for business people whose work involves a lot of international commuting.
VoIP functions via a specially designed handset or with an adapter on your normal telephone. Of course, it is also available via your desktop or laptop computer but the more convenient option for those of us who travel frequently is that your Cloud2Call VoIP account can work directly via your Smartphone or iPad. So, wherever you go, your VoIP account goes with you.

Microsoft’s recent purchase of Skype for $8.5 billion – a service that was only launched in 2003 – is just one indicator of how important this sector is on a worldwide platform. And, of course, as a sector becomes popular it becomes more competitive, offering better and better deals to the consumer.
Cloud2Call prides itself on staying on-top of all VoIP business developments. Whilst VoIP has opened up so many new opportunities for your business it is only effective if the service that you receive is reliable. We know that your call centre can become 500% more successful once the right setup is installed –the right installation is immediate and needs little follow-up care.
We provide a no-contract system that allows you to manage it directly with total control over your accounts. And if you do have any questions, then we’re here to help whether you would like to talk to us by telephone, email or instant messenger. Cloud2Call has specifically designed business packages to make your life easier… and your business more profitable!

Triple your enquiries – Choosing an inbound number.

VoIP telephony gives you the flexibility to choose your own telephone number – no matter where in the world you may be.

After all, when it comes to sales enquiries, it isn’t really a question of where your office is based but where your clients are. Research indicates that providing your clients with a number that is more cost-effective for them can increase telephone enquiries by as much as 300%.

Cloud2Call can provide you with a virtual (inbound) number from your choice of worldwide locations. Or even a freephone number. The calls are simply forwarded (or “pointed”) directly to your existing Cloud2Call extension, landline or mobile number. This gives you the ability to be ‘local’ from anywhere in the World. And it gives you the freedom to move around as much as required as you will no longer be tied to the office. In addition, the destination of incoming calls can be easily changed to whichever device is most convenient at any given time.

0800, 0500 and 0808 numbers are classed as UK Freephone or Freefone numbers.

Virtual inbound numbers have become a key element of most corporations’ marketing strategy. Many companies find that by communicating via a number that is either local or free to their target market or clientele, a higher level of customer-confidence and market awareness is secured in that location. Clients also tend to feel reassured by the fact that there is never a busy tone – incoming calls can always be redirected or “bounced” to an available line if the initial destination is in use.

It is important to ensure that you have the ability to easily manage your incoming calls so Cloud2Call allows direct account access via your own client account login. Changes to the caller set-up only takes a few seconds, leaving you to turn your attentions to other areas of your business… or it allows you to leave the office, knowing that any enquiries are being immediately dealt with by a chosen professional.

It is also possible to assess the volume of incoming calls and direct any given number to one department and then the overflow to support staff. Cloud2Call understands that the quicker that you can attend your clients, the higher the level of satisfaction. Cloud2Call inbound numbers provide:
  • A dedicated number, wherever you are in the world
  • Business flexibility to travel, relocate, etc
  • Convenience – calls can be directed to the most convenient device at any given time
  • Call redirection avoiding “lost” calls due to overloading on the lines
  • Higher levels of customer service

What is VoIP?

And can VoIP aid the success of my company?

The global recession of recent years has taught us to be more mindful and, perhaps, more open-minded about the way that we distribute company funds. And so, whilst there was once much skepticism about the reliability of VoIP, demand has risen monumentally and many users have now found that it is an invaluable part of their company’s infrastructure. VoIP is equally beneficial to a single home worker or a multi-national company as it provides a full range of tools that include reception and switchboard services, “whispers” that identify the origin of incoming calls and the appearance of worldwide locations for outgoing calls. Telecoms packages tend to be variable so you can easily identify one to suit your needs.

But what does VoIP actually do?
Well, all that you really need to know is that you are able to make calls directly from your computer or from a telephone, but rather than using a standard telephone line, internet lines are used. Therefore, it avoids the higher charges that a normal telephone call incurs. The telephone used for a VoIP call would either be one that has been specifically designed for VoIP usage (picture of a standard design below) or you would use your normal telephone with a special adapter. Alternatively. you can speak directly via your computer or tablet using a microphone or headset by downloading a simple piece of free software,  sometimes referred to as a softphone. Either way, the set-up takes just minutes. And once you have completed the set-up, you can take it anywhere. Just unplug the VoIP handset from the router in one location and move it to another and your service will be exactly the same – whether that other location is the office, home or even a different country. Obviously if you are using VoIP through your computer then you are able to make a call anywhere in the world as long as you have internet access.

The reason that VoIP has become so popular is thanks to some key benefits:
  1. Cost saving. It is much cheaper than using standard telephone networks, especially when calling long-distance.
  2. Freedom to move. You are provided with a dedicated line. Therefore, wherever you go, it goes.
  3. Integration with other applications. For example, Cloud2Call provides VoIP services that are enabled with call recording, call transfer, “followMe”, conference calls and call screening.
  4. Manageability. For example, the Cloud2Call service allows you to monitor exactly where your account is at any time and is updated continuously, coupled with as much or as little customer support as you require. There is no contract and you can leave whenever you choose without penalty because the service speaks for itself.

But is VoIP really reliable?
These days VoIP is incredibly reliable. It has the advantage of working via the internet which has built-in redundancy (meaning that it is extremely unlikely that it will ever experience downtime as instant backup servers are in place to ensure distribution 100% of the time). Any issues relating to the supply of the internet is due to the individual service provider or the equipment that is being used.

Virtual Telecoms Trends for 2012

The world is increasingly becoming connected by networks of virtual links. Virtual telecoms lie at the heart of much of these communications and their influence is growing as a result of the improved technologies, enabling service providers such as Cloud2call.com to offer lower calling costs and more competitive telecoms packages to their increasing number of users.  Trends for 2012 are expected to show improvements in all areas of telecoms including mobile services and the age of the traditional office telephone conversation is becoming a thing of the past.

LANDLINE CONNECTIONS
Despite being seemingly connected at every corner of the globe already, it is interesting to note that global fixed line broadband subscriptions are predicted rise again this year to reach 651m,  which is an increase of 13% from  2011, when the figure stood at 576.8m. China’s has been denominating the market in this area for many years however India is likely to see over 590m access lines added to its fixed and mobile networks over the next five years, (source: Pyramid Research).

SMARTPHONES
With a growing number of us switching over to a smartphone for both business and social interaction, , statistics (from Informa Telecoms & Media) predict that the total number of global sales for smartphones could increase from 342.4m in 2011 to 439.1m  during this year. Reference

VoIP
The VoIP market is going from strength to strength and will continue as such despite the economic downturn, due primarily to the fact that with improved technologies, VoIP can offer a cheaper and more flexible alternative, leading consumers and business to turn to VoIP systems for their business to save costs. The improvements in broadband services and the increased availability of connections has allowed VoIP to undercut many of the landline rates currently on offer and is set to lead the market because of the associated switchboard services which can be provided to improve customer services.  Netscribes (India) Pvt. Ltd., a knowledge consulting solutions company, has recently announced the launch of its report entitled: VoIP Market in India 2012. Voice over Internet Protocol or VoIP is economically viable alternative to traditional telephony. It enables calls enhanced with various features which make it attractive at affordable cost. What is a Hosted PBX System?

In a traditional business,  the phone system or the PBX (Private Branch eXchange), is typically a piece of equipment located in your office. Traditional PBX systems are both costly and bulky and often need to be housed in a store or separate office. With a traditional system, calls come in to you via your PBX from the external phone system,  and then lines run from the PBX  to all the phone extensions in your company. A hosted PBX system, it works in a similar way but the PBX itself is stored at a remote location by a service provider who manages or ‘hosts’ the system for you;  and all that you  need in your office are the phones and an internet connection.
A hosted system uses IP phones which use the internet to make and receive calls. These are readily available from your provider or local retailer and are comparable in price to a traditional phone handset, starting from around 15€.

Cloud2Call is an official distributor of Yealink IP and IP video phones.  Visit our website for further details on the products available.  www.cloud2call.com/products

How does it  work?
Hosted PBX systems all run on IP networks, meaning that they use the same circuitry and wiring as your company's data network  (LAN). They pass information back and forth via the same mechanisms as any office network or the Internet itself. The advantages of this setup are that your company only needs one set of wiring in its office for all communications. Data and voice networks can cross-communicate with one another more easily, and you probably only need one person to administer and maintain the voice and data networks.

When a call is made, the phone connects to the IP network, then gets switched out to the remote hosted service, which establishes what number is being called and creates a connection via VoIP protocols across the IP network
(VoIP: Voice Over Internet Protocol). This type of remote service can also create other connections, interact with the call via a virtual switchboard providing enhanced services for your business.

What are the benefits?
The specific benefits of a hosted PBX system over a traditional phone system can be summarised as:
  • Simple setup in your office
  • Less space required
  • Less maintenance
  • Lower running costs
  • Unified communications
  • Improved business features
  • Improved potential scalability and growth

How can I choose the right provider?
In order to get the most from a hosted VoIP system, your business also needs to make sure that its IP network and connection to the Internet has sufficient bandwidth. Consider the ability of the service to manage multiple locations if your business has remote offices, and find out how easy the system is to install and operate, which will determine whether an on-staff administrator will be necessary. Finally, consider whether the system provides the kinds of tracking, account management and tools that you need.

Cloud2Call can offer all of the above and more.  Their flexible and transparent approach to hosted PBX services allows their clients to pick and choose which services they require,  in multiple locations, with immediate set up,  including handsets delivered to your door, and whatever minutes you require in whatever country.  The online system allows you to monitor exactly where your account is at any time and is updated continuously, coupled with as much or as little customer support as you require. There is no contract and you can leave whenever you choose without penalty because the service speaks for itself.

For a  fast set up,  Cloud2Call have designed pre-built packages to suit Single Users for 9.99€, and 2-5 Users for 29.95€ or if you are more experienced, you can build your own package suitable for one user up to an infinite number of users,  however you choose.
